In a surprising crossover event that defies conventional predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including free additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Uncovered

According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual confrontation pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of forbidden ceremonies and monstrous metamorphoses echo through the shadows." The plot features a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a hidden cult.

The mission concentrates on "strange tests and a terrifying foe" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Changes

The trailer highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser concludes with a striking moment showing a character, probably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Extra Material

Players who finish the adventure will acquire an exclusive katana together with several items hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

This update also brings the game's latest no-cost story episode, titled "A Puzzlement."
